Key Personnel

Carol Weinstein, 2trg Founder and Chief Financial Officer, is a seasoned, senior-level, financial executive with 24 years of financial management experience with technology companies.  As President of The Weinstein Group, Carol has focused on mentoring both large and small technology companies, acting as interim CFO for a number of companies, and providing merger and acquisition services to technology companies on both the buy and sell side.  Prior to forming The Weinstein Group, Carol served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Pomeroy Computer Resources.  During her 11 year career with Pomeroy, Ms. Weinstein was instrumental in the development of financial systems and operational processes as the company grew from $20M to in excess of $500M in revenues and successfully completed an initial public offering and two secondary offerings of its stock.  Carol started her financial career as a CPA at Grant Thornton in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Carol holds a Master’s Degree from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Potsdam.

Stuart Shaffer, Chief Client Officer, is a high energy sales and management professional with 20 years of experience in the technology industry.  Mr. Shaffer has served in various sales and business development roles including Regional Sales Manager and Major Account Manager at OKI Printing Solutions, Senior Account Executive at Prosys Information Systems, and Enterprise Account Executive/Director of Strategic Account Development at Pomeroy IT Solutions.  Mr. Shaffer spent 3 years as a partner and President of Pure Water Works, a point-of-use water filtration systems startup as well as Vice President of Sales for Argos Resource Group, a sister technology and parts brokerage company.  As a partner and President of Connecting Point Computer Center in Pueblo, Colorado, Mr. Shaffer was responsible for reviving a financially challenged technology reseller business.  Within 2 years, Mr. Shaffer had successfully turned the business around and sold the company.  Leading up to this initial entrepreneur venture, Mr. Shaffer was employed at Connecting Point Computer Centers of Scottsbluff, Nebraska as well as Louisville, Kentucky.  Stuart received his secondary education from DeVry Institute of Technology and the University of Wyoming.
